Exes Bella Hadid and The Weeknd came face-to-face on Wednesday night as they both made appearances at the H&M fashion show in Paris. But it wasn't as awkward as one may assume as Bella played it cool with sister Gigi Hadid by her side. Meanwhile, The Weeknd delivered another spectacular performance as he took a night off from his Europe tour to attend the H&M show.
Bella's reaction to seeing her ex-boyfriend
The 20-year-old was photographed with a smile as she walked out among the other models for the finale show. Of course, big sister Gigi was there to offer moral support as the girls held hands. Bella was seen dancing and having a good time among her fellow models as they enjoyed The Weeknd's performance after their last walk down the runway.
However, the evening wasn't without its moments as Us Weekly states the Hadid girls exchanged a knowing look as they first laid eyes on Bella's ex. "In a blink-and-miss-it moment captured by attendees at the show, Bella grabbed Gigi’s hand and gave her a quick “did you see him?” stare before the pair continued to lead the pack of models down the runway for their final."
The sisters were recorded looking slyly at one another after they passed The Weeknd— real name Abel Tesfaye— performing on stage.
But the look was so quick, it's a surprise that photographers were able to catch Bella's reaction at all. It's not the first time the exes have run into one another on the runway, either.
The exes' first encounter post-breakup
Just weeks after their November 2016 breakup, the exes both appeared at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show— once again in Paris— as they were photographed together. Bella was seen giving The Weeknd a very knowing look as she strutted down the stage in nothing but lingerie during his performance. Of course, this was before Abel was spotted getting cozy with Selena Gomez.
And while reports state Bella is upset her ex moved on so quickly, it seems she's doing a good job hiding it as she continues to publicly smile as they once again make appearances on stage together.
