"The Bachelor" star Nick Viall will hand out his final rose on March 13, making the fourth time a charm for the reality star who didn't find love on two seasons of "The Bachelorette" and on the franchise's summer spinoff, "Bachelor in Paradise."
Although he tells Us Weekly that his season ends on a positive note fans will be surprised to hear that the 36-year-old former software salesman may be heading right back to TV right after "The Bachelor" season finale airs on ABC.
Although it would make sense for Nick to walk away from the spotlight and spend some time getting to know his bride-to-be, a new report indicates that the 36-year-old former software salesman will be trading in roses for dancing shoes. According to Variety, Nick has been in talk to become a contestant on "Dancing With The Stars" and he won't have much time to prep for his new gig — the Season 24 premiere airs March 20.
Will Nick's final pick move to L.A.?
Although ABC won't confirm that Nick is part of the cast until the celebrities and pros are introduced on "Good Morning America" on March 1, there's a good chance that the woman Nick got engaged to on "The Bachelor" will have to move to L.A.
if she wants to spend time with him.
Viall moved to Los Angeles last year and even if he doesn't appear on "Dancing with the Stars," blogger Reality Steve states that Nick won't be moving anytime soon. And if Steve's spoilers are correct and Nick's final pick is Vanessa Grimaldi, then things are going to get really complicated because she currently lives and works in Montreal, Canada.
Can you say 'long commute'?
Although Nick and Vanessa are expected to appear as an engaged couple on the "After the Final Rose" special that airs on March 13, Reality Steve doesn't think they'll make it to the altar. Add the possibility of Nick's gig on "Dancing with the Stars" to the mix and it's a recipe for relationship disaster.
Vanessa works as a special education teacher in Montreal and that's quite a long commute to L.A. if she wants to see Nick. Then again, if Nick is practicing for "DWTS," he won't have much down time while the show is filming.
And for those who think that it could work out, let's take a moment to remember "Bachelor" Chris Soules relationship with Whitney Bischoff fizzled out after Chris appeared on "Dancing with the Stars."
Perhaps Nick and Vanessa will surprise everyone and their relationship will beat the "Bachelor" odds, but if Nick is part of the "DWTS" cast, don't be surprised when the rumors start circulating online about their impending breakup.
