"Om Namo Venkatesaya" is a devotional and biographical film, based on the life of Hathiram Bhavaji.

Nagarjuna's career best performance

The film solely belongs to Superstar Nagarjuna. The veteran star has portrayed the character of Hathiram Bhavaji, the North Indian saint who visited the Tirumala temple on 1500 CE.

With his subtle acting, Nagarjuna has immortalized this role, and one scene where Nagarjuna is asking the Lord to take his life away through Sanjeev Samadhi is a real gem of a film shot.

Celebrities review after premiere

Saurabh Raj Jain who portrayed the character of Lord Venkateshwara too did justice to his role. Jagapathi Babu and Aditya Menon were just okay in their respective roles.

Surprisingly, Anushka Shetty failed while portraying the character of Krishnamma on screen.

In some scenes, she went bit over-the-board, and it is one of the most noted negative elements in this movie.

Raghavendra Rao's unique narration

The director has narrated the story beautifully.

M M Keeravani's music is also up to the mark, and it played a crucial role in elevating the blessed mood of the film.

Box-office prediction

The film is locking horns with Suriya's dubbed movie "Yamudu 3" at the Tollywood box office. Considering the number of release centers and positive reviews surrounding "Om Namo Venkatesaya," it is expected to gross more than rs 12 Crores in its opening weekend.

The film has been released in Tamil and Telugu languages simultaneously.

Nagarjuna and his team offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara at the Indur Tirumala Temple in Nizamabad on Thursday.
