"Teen Mom OG" is officially returning to MTV this spring. During the "Teen Mom 2" aftershow on Monday night, the big news was announced that the original girls will be returning for yet another season on April 17. While Amber Portwood claims that she's no longer going to be part of the reality TV series, Farrah Abraham, Maci Bookout, and Catelynn Lowell's lives will all be documented for the MTV cameras yet again.
The original girls are coming back to MTV
While the big announcement delighted "Teen Mom OG" fans, others were confused by some of the events of the night.
Although members of the OG cast took on the girls of "Teen Mom 2" in a friendly face-to-face game on the live aftershow, it was Farrah Abraham and her mother, Debra Danielson, who stole the show, and not in a good way. Farrah accompanied her mother on stage as Deb debuted her brand new rap video. Us Weekly Magazine reports that after Deb briefly updated fans on her life, and her engagement to new fiance, Dr. David, she dropped the video for her brand new rap song.
Debra Danielson reveals her new rap video
The rap video opened with Debra's voice stating, "Oh, hell. We've been kicked out of much better places than this," which is a soundbite from a previous episode of "Teen Mom OG" when she and Farrah were kicked out of a party for not being on the guest list.
In the video, Deb is seen in the studio and dancing to her song. While the music video was on the screen, the other cast members in attendance were shown. Kailyn Lowry watched the video with no emotion on her face while Catelynn Lowell and Leah Messer forced smiles during the song.
Farrah supports her mothers rap career
However, the most surprising moment of the night may have been Farrah Abraham's supportive words about her mother's rap video.
Farrah told the crowd that God gave her mother some talent. Debra later revealed that she has another rap on the way. Meanwhile, fans who want to watch "Teen Mom OG" grandmother, Debra Danielson, can catch her MTV special, "Being Debra" on Wednesday night.
