It looks like Roman Reigns is going to be a superstar if the WWE has anything to say about it as they continue to attempt to mold Reigns into a character who will eventually shed the boos from WWE fans. Or - this could all be a smokescreen and the real boom has yet to fall. A lot is riding on Reigns stepping into the ring with Braun Strowman at Fastlane with a rumored big finish putting Reigns on the road to repairing his character in the eyes of the WWE fans.

Repair job?

According to the Inquisitr, Reigns is rumored to have a "big finish" and what the WWE has planned for this "finish" could go a long way with repairs to his character for future matches.

It's no secret that Reigns is the wrestler Vince McMahon has taken under his wing and when McMahon has plans for a WWE wrestler, they usually materialize. The push for Reigns to be a WWE favorite is so great coming from the WWE that there could just be a hidden agenda.

Reigns skates through WWE

Roman Reigns is often referred to as the "most hated" wrestler in modern-day history and there are a couple of reasons for that. One theory that holds a lot of water today is how Reigns gets into some of the big matches usually reserved for wrestlers who have worked their way up the WWE ladder.

WWE fans, especially those who have been with the WWE for decades, want to see the wrestlers pay their dues before being thrown into a title match.

Reigns has skipped a lot of the grunt work when it comes to wrestling. He is treated by the WWE as a superstar, but he hasn't shown superstar talent as of yet.

The Undertaker

The one big hurdle Reigns is facing after the Fastlane match is the Undertaker at Wrestlemania 33. This puts Reigns between a rock and a hard place. If he should by chance defeat one of the most loved wrestlers in the WWE, those boos will personify.

"Even if the Undertaker puts over Roman Reigns and gives him an endorsement, it likely won't matter," according to the Inquisitr. They remind their readers how The Rock was booed when he put over Roman Reigns after his Royal Rumble win. All this did was get the fans to boo The Rock.

Turning heel with even bigger boos?

Fox Sports offers up the possible scenario of Reigns snapping and using some "underhand means" to win the match against the Undertaker.

This would turn Reigns heel, but top heel and the fans would be overjoyed at this turn of events. As Fox suggests, the WWE fans are determined to boo Reigns anyway, so having him turn heel at Wrestlemania 33 by taking down the Undertaker, at least they'd be booing him for "all the right reasons."

Were all the attempts to keep Reigns from turning heel a smokescreen and will that lift after he gets into the ring with the Undertaker? Will Reigns go heel big time in the ring with one of the most beloved wrestlers of all time? All the theories are buzzing and it seems that a lot hinges on what Reigns will do at Wrestlemania 33.
