One thing she is really happy about is the fact that she doesn't have to keep it a secret anymore. Now the entire world knows that Rachel will be handing out roses next season.

So far, Rachel Lindsay hadn't been on social media, but she was still getting a lot of support. Rachel shared that the cast members from her season with Nick Viall have been great and really supportive. Rachel is also getting a lot of support from her friends and family. This is going to make the process easier for her.

Rachel shared her thoughts saying, "I was excited that they asked me to do it, but I was also equally nervous. But then when I started to weigh out the pros and the cons I decided that this was too good of an opportunity to turn away." Everyone is really excited to hear that Rachel went through with it and took the job.

Rachel Lindsay wants everyone to know that it is not different than any other "Bachelorette." She doesn't feel any extra pressure being the first African American lead and is simply just a girl trying to find love just like anyone else.

She also said, "You know, I said this on the show all the time, but I just like to keep it 100 and keep it real,” said Lindsay. “I figure if I just stay true to myself, it’ll be a successful show."
