Mama June downloaded a dating app in an effort to find a date for her ex's wedding. As a single mom at 37 -- and a reality star -- June Shannon quickly learned that dating wasn't easy. This was one of the reasons that she decided to give Tinder a whirl!
Tinder is for everyone
"Everybody's on me about getting a date for Sugar Bear's wedding," Shannon said in a preview clip for her new show, "Mama June: From Not To Hot."I finally found one, and everybody's up on my [*ss]. What the hell?" she questions.
However, it wasn't until June's daughter, Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson asked her mom where she met the guy that June admitted she had joined Tinder.
"Is it the one where you shop for guys, and you swipe left and right?" Honey Boo Boo asks. Mama June wonders how Alana even knows of such things.
It's unknown if Mama June is still dating the guy that she found or if she's still using the dating app to find dates these days.
Major weight loss unveiling is on the way
June Shannon underwent gastric sleeve surgery in 2016 to drop significant weight. She previously weighed over 350 pounds and was a size 16 but says that she is now a size 4! No one has seen pictures of her extreme weight loss and it is widely speculated that her contract with WE tv required her to keep her new body hidden from the world until she debuts her new look on the show.
What's going to be on the new show?
The new reality show featuring the "Honey Boo Boo" family will follow June Shannon's weight loss journey. It will show her ups and downs before, during, and after surgery. Her diet and exercise routine will also be part of the show and it is believed that her skin removal surgery was also filmed for the documentary.
Fans are really excited for the show and are really looking forward to seeing Mama June's new body. If she really is a size 4, her transformation will be amazing
"Mama June: From Not To Hot" premieres on Friday, February 24 at 10 p.m. EST.
