There is definitely no shortage of action movies in modern times and "Guardians of The Galaxy" came as a breath of fresh air with unique humor and likable characters that made it easy for Marvel to decide to create a sequel to the movie that was released in 2014. This is the kind of movie that offers incredible variety in terms of the way the characters act and look and this enhanced the appeal because they all bring something interesting or at least comical to the table.
The cast
The cast for the "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" is bringing back the whole gang with Chris Pratt as Peter Quill, this is the main guy in the movies and the anti-hero type that has redeemed himself and turned into a celebrity all over the galaxy for saving so many people.
Zoe Saldana is also back as Gamora, the alien orphan with a very mother-like attitude and she is always doing things right while trying to get the group to act as adults.
Dave Bautista is back as Drax, the meat-headed alien that is looking for revenge for the death of his family, while he is a brute, he does have a heart and he is very funny too, so audiences will be happy to see him back. Michael Rooker is brilliant as Yondu Udonta and Karen Gillan as Nebula.
Bradley Cooper and vin diesel are lending their voices for Baby Groot and Rocket. Vin Diesel says that playing Groot is loads of fun because of the one-liner being such a funny thing in the movie. Bradley Cooper gives a great attitude to the genetically engineered bad tempered raccoon that is known for his bounty hunting skills.
Sylvester Stallone and Kurt Russell are also joining in.
Release Date
This movie is set to release on May 5, 2017 and it will be available in 3D and IMAX 3D in theaters all over the world.
