Tarek El Moussa filed for divorce from his wife and "Flip or Flop" co-star, Christina El Moussa, in January after seven years of marriage. Tarek said in an interview on "Entertainment Tonight" on Friday, February 24 that he is not completely closing the door on getting back with his estranged wife. Tarek said he found out about Christina and Gary Anderson's recent breakup when it was posted online.
Tarek's interviews
Tarek admitted to ET's Nischelle Turner that it was hard dealing with Christina dating Gary who had remodeled their backyard. Tarek, 35, said he still respects the mother of their two children.
In fact, the 33-year-old is a great mother to six-year-old Taylor and 18-month-old Brayden. Despite what happened, he contends that he and Christina are still great friends. At one point during the interview, he said she was his soulmate. He also talked about the chemistry they had. As of now, Tarek and Christina are co-parenting and still being a family for their children.
Tarek's interview on "Entertainment Tonight" was not the only interview he was involved in last week. He also appeared on the "Today" show where he said some of the same things.
Christina's interview
While Tarek was interviewed on the "Today" show and "Entertainment Tonight," Christina was interviewed by Michael Strahan on "Good Morning America" last Tuesday.
She told him that their main concern now is their children. She indicated that it is not strange to be working with Tarek while going through a divorce because they met at work and it's normal to work with him. They were spotted on Thursday laughing together while they were filming their hit HGTV show in Garden Grove, California.
Future of 'Flip or Flop'
The real estate stars want fans to know that they will continue to work together and raise their kids together even though they are in the midst of divorce proceedings. Currently Season 6 is airing, and they are filming Season 7. Their house-flipping seminars are still ongoing. Christina says she also has a book in its early stages.
