"Dancing With The Stars" returns for its 24th season on March 20 and eight of the twelve celebrity dancers have now been confirmed ahead of the official cast reveal that is scheduled for March 1 on "Good Morning America." If you can't wait to find out who will be competing for the Mirror Ball trophy this season, here's the scoop on the celebs who have been confirmed so far, including a popular "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star.
The 2017 "DWTS" cast lineup has some big surprises in store and some fans may not recognize some of the celebrities — a few of them haven't made headlines in years.
Still, the season is already shaping up to be an interesting one especially for fans of reality TV shows.
Who's already confirmed?
So far, there are only rumors that an NFL star will show up in the ABC ballroom, but there are already two athletes who are said to be part of the cast. Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles will be putting on her dancing shoes this season, perhaps following in the footsteps of last season's winner, Laurie Hernandez, and Olympic skater Nancy Kerrigan is expected to be one of the celebrity dancers.
E! News has confirmed that "rhobh" star Erika Girardi [also known as Erika Jayne] is part of the Season 24 cast and while ABC has not confirmed her appearance, E! has been very reliable in the past when it comes to "DWTS" cast leaks.
In addition to Simone Biles, Nancy Kerrigan, and Erika Girardi, Us Weekly states that Mr. T ("The A-Team") will compete for the Mirrorball Trophy as well as one of the members of the pop group Fifth Harmony.
If you are a fan of reality TV, Erika Girardi isn't the only reality star who will reportedly appear on "DWTS" Season 24.
ET reports that "The Bachelor" star Nick Viall will join the cast after he hands out his final rose on March 13.
Other 'DWTS' cast rumors
Although the names released above seem to be the real deal, there are several other celebrities who are still on the rumor list for the season that starts on March 20. Topping the unconfirmed list are "Property Brothers" stars Jonathan and Drew Scott, "Friends" star Matthew Perry, "Pretty Little Liars" star Ashley Benson, and music artists Usher, who was a former coach on "The Voice."
