Fans are excited about the return of the blockbuster show “Game of Thrones” as the sixth season got over on an interesting note and left many questions unanswered and much to get unfolded. More so is the gossip that the show may come to an end soon but for sure the seventh season is not the final one.
How long the epic will run is a question everyone wants to know and inside information indicates that the next or the eight seasons may be the final one.
The latest season got delayed as usually the show pioneers in spring but as the sixth season ended in winter so the seventh season may go onscreen during summers as the shooting is still wrapped and few episodes are still to be shot.
Producers are hopeful to get good weather and daylight for shooting few real booming scenes and yes the season is indicated to be a shorter one as it may have only seven episodes this season.

Who returns in the new season?
Fans can expect a dead character to come back in the new season as Lane Glen was spotted near the shooting site and also, may return from beyond walls is the Coldhands.
Lady Lyanna is also back and may come together with Wilding Dortmund.
The producers have signed few actors including Kit Harington (Jon Snow), Peter Dinklage (Tyrion), Lena Headey (Cersei), Emilia Clarke (Daenerys) and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime).

All reportedly signed up for a seventh season back in late 2014 and they are also optioned for last season but nothing is guaranteed as yet that who will last how long in the story.
