Although "The Walking Dead" has broken our hearts so many times, we never get used to the loss. Thankfully audiences have the chance to watch these talented actors in all the cool projects they have in the works. The death of some characters, more than others, have left us a bit empty inside. Catch up with these super talented actors.
Steven Yeun
Probably the most painful loss that we all saw coming was the death of Glenn.
After being brutally murdered by Negan, all fans keep his beautiful smile in their hearts. Steven Yeun already has some projects in the works to look forward to. Due out sometime in 2018, the animated film "Chrew" features Yeun as a detective with a strange secret. Starring David Tennant and Felicia Day, this film will no doubt be a big success. There is also the action/drama film “Okja” where he plays opposite Tilda Swinton and Jake Gyllenhaal. We will be seeing a lot of Steven Yeun.
Michael Cudlitz
Oh, how we already miss Abraham. Not too much to see on his horizon just yet, but no doubt he’ll be very busy.
Hopefully, we will get to see more of his character of Dan Balsamo in HBO's hit "Ballers." Michael Cudlitz’s career goes way back to 1991 when he had a spot on “21 Jump Street,” and since then he has had guest roles in everything from “Beverly Hills, 90210” to “24” to “Southland.” One of his most memorable roles was his character of Denver (“Bull) Randleman in “Band of Brothers.”
Michael Rooker
Zombie fans loved to hate Merle Dixon, and since his character's demise, Michael Rooker has become a big fan favorite at sci-fi conventions. The actor got his start in 1986 with his role in the TV series “Crime Story,” was in the hilarious movie “Mallrats,” and just a ton of other roles before he found his fame as Merle Dixon in “The Walking Dead.” Since then Rooker has been busy playing Yondu Udonta in “Guardians of the Galaxy” and upcoming “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.
2” which is due out May 2017. He’s also been in films “The Belko Experiment” and “Bolden!”
Scott Wilson
We loved him as Hershel Greene from seasons two through four. He’s been busy with roles in the TV series “The OA” and “Damien.” Until that bastard, The Governor, caused fans to blow through entire tissue boxes. Scott Wilson had his first role in the 1967 film “In the Heat of the Night.” Since then he’s been in films such as “Monster,” “The Last Samurai,” and a ton of guest spots on hot TV shows.
David Morrissey
Speaking of The Governor, David Morrissey has been spending his time play “Sam” in the TV series “The Missing.” It looks like he filmed a pilot for a show called “Britannia,” but no word yet on its start date.
Morrissey played the evil ruler of Woodbury from season three to five. A fan favorite role was his spot on the 2008 “Doctor Who” episode “The Next Doctor”, as Jackson Lake.
Emily Kinney
Beth has been deeply missed. The loss of her beautiful and sweet character has really left a hole in "The Walking Dead" group. Emily Kinney recently had that cool role as the Bug-Eyed Bandit in season four of “Arrow,” and played an adorable fashion designer in the romantic Hallmark Channel film “Love on the Sidelines.” Currently, Kinney is playing the role of Tess Larson in the TV drama “Conviction.”
Jon Bernthal
Not sure how many fans actually miss Shane, but his character certainly did serve a purpose. Jon Bernthal has been incredibly busy.
After his season three exit from “The Walking Dead,” Bernthal had a good role in the hit film “The Wolf of Wall Street,” and has an IMDB filmography that has absolutely exploded with roles. Not only is he now officially Frank Castle a.k.a The Punisher from Netflix's “Daredevil,” to the new “The Punisher” series that is still filming, and yet another series featured the Punisher called “The Defenders.”
