Does Bethenny Frankel have an eating disorder? While the Real Housewives of New York City star has not confirmed any such news, several fans on Twitter aren't so sure and recently weighed in on the possibility after Frankel commented on the admitted eating disorder of her co-star, Jules Wainstein.
“Carole and Bethenny you talk about Jules, both of you are 5 ounces heavier than Jules,” one woman wrote of Frankel and her co-star, Carole Radziwill, according to a report by All About the Tea on September 8. Another added,“I wish Carole would be as upfront about her eating disorder as Jules.
Her chunky sweaters aren’t cutting it.”
As the 8th season of The Real Housewives of New York City continued, so did fans' comments regarding Bethenny Frankel's weight -- and the weight of Radziwill. One woman even claimed that fans “just don’t see when" the other womenthrow up and labeled them both "hypocrites." Others slammed Frankel for bullying and said she was unnaturally thin.

Speaking to fans, Bethenny Frankel said that eating disorders never leave those affected and noted that she hadn't seen Wainstein eat. She also said that she grew up around eating disorders, which were a sensitive topic for her to discuss.
However, later in the season, Frankel was accused of being insensitive towards Wainstein's efforts to get healthy when her medication came up during a cast dinner.
In a later scene from the show, after Wainstein discovered things that Frankel had said, she questioned what Frankel really knew about eating disorders and suggested she keep some distance between herself and the Skinnygirl mogul.
"Someone who says that they know everything about eating disorders wouldn't act this way towards somebody in recovery. Maybe it's not healthy for me to be around her," she told Sonja Morgan.
