Remember octomom? She had to be one of the most controversial mothers of the last decade. This was a single mother who already had six kids, but she somehow talked a fertility specialist into performing IVF so she could have more kids all at once! Because that IVF attempt was so successful, she became a celebrity overnight as Octomom after giving birth to octuplets.That multiple birthleft the single motherwith 14kids!
All by herself
For a while the world was fascinated with Nadya Suleman, but that was very short-lived. People became furious when they learned the new mother of octuplets already had six other kids and planned to tax the public assistance funds to support them all.
According to Radar Online, Octomom reports in her recent Woman's Day interview that everyone thought she was showered with help and donations, but she wasn't. It was left all up to her to put food on the table and a roof over her family's heads.
Porn and stripping
Feeding and housing 14 kids was no cake-walk and there weren't many jobs out there that would pay enough for her to support her children, so she did the unthinkable. Octomom turned to porn and stripping to put food on the table. She did have some standards at the time. She wouldn't have sex with another person on film, but she did a masturbation flick that made headlines for some time.
She also worked the local strip club circuits in various cities, as they billed her as Octomom and for a while she had quite the following.
When she was originally asked to do a porn movie she swore that was something she would never lower herself to do. But when times got tough and there were 14 kids that needed the basics, all pride went out the window and she did what needed to be done!
