Are Meghan King Edmonds and her husband, Jim, expecting twins? On Twitter, after sharing a photo of two embryos with fans, the Real Housewives of Orange County star set the record straight with her fans. Following a tweet from a fan which spoke of Edmonds' potential "babies," the reality star confirmed that she and Jim are expecting "just one healthy baby girl." She also confirmed she was not expecting twins to another fan who spoke of the idea and said that she felt bad after her husband, Jim, expressed disappointment in the child's gender.

"I still feel bad that Jimmy was disappointed. I know how badly he wanted another son," Edmonds wrote to her fans and followers on Twitter on Monday night as the new episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County aired.

From his past marriages, Jim is dad to three girls, Sutton, Lauren and Hayley, and one boy, Landon.

Meghan King Edmonds faced divorce reports after announcing baby news

At the beginning of the 11th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Edmonds revealed her plans to undergo in-vitro fertilization after it was noted that her husband had undergone a vasectomy prior to their marriage. Then, as the season continued, she was seen enduring painful injections and her husband tended to his career duties out of town.

As Edmonds did her best to get pregnant with her 1st child, the 5th for Jim, Jim appeared to be emotionally unavailable and in a number of her blog entries for Bravo TV, the reality star expressed her frustration in Jim's lack of involvement. According to Edmonds, her in-vitro fertilization efforts consumed her entire life and Jim didn't seem to be interested in what she was going through. Although Edmonds wasn't too thrilled with Jim's distance as she underwent IVF, she has insisted that Jim is excited about their baby and despite reports of a possible divorce, she continues to share new photos of them together on social media.
