The Guns N’ Roses ‘Not in This Lifetime’ tour has already begun but the hard rock band are still announcing final tour details. They most recently announced that Australian rock band Wolfmother will be opening their shows in both Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.

The addition of Wolfmother adds to an already fantastic support act list of Alice in Chainds, Lenny Kravitz, Chris Stapleton, The Cult, Skrillex and Billy Talnet.

Wolfmother got their big break in 2005 when they released their self-titled album.

Guns N’Roses tour managed by TAIT

The massive rock tour started last Thursday, 23rd June in Michigan and will visit over 17 locations.

Guns N’Roses are one of the biggest rock bands in history and their huge tour has needed expert organisation. Matt Hales is one of the many working on the tour and has said “Working on a tour that reunites the Guns N’Roses originals after over two decades was an opportunity that we couldn’t miss.” Hales is the project manager at TAIT who have built a 71-foot-wide stage for the rockers, the stage includes ‘band risers, LED staircases made with TAIT’s P9 LED video tiles, LED fascia and amp stacks, and a self-climber piano lift.’

TAIT have lots of experience with big concerts as they have previously worked with Taylor Swift, U2, Maddona and The Rolling Stones.

The ‘Not in This Lifetime Tour’ also features Duff and McKagan, Slash, and Axl Rose, their appearance on the Guns N’Roses tour will be the first time since 1993 that the three perform together.

The most recent Guns N’Roses tour was from 2012-2014 called ‘Appetite for Democracy’ and began in Vegas. The tour before that was ‘Up Close and Personal’.

So far they have done 18 tours in North America, 10 in Latin America, 2 in the Middle East, 5 in Asia and 7 in Oceania.
