Drake's beard has captured the hearts of many women around the world. While it made Drizzy appear more masculine and desirable, it didn't exactly change who he was as a person.
However, people did get used to seeing Drake with a face full of hair— somewhat of a beard template for those wishing to grow one of their own. But now, that template has become temporary. Or has it?
But why, Drake? Where'd the beard go?
Via Drake's super fan base, Word on Road, you can see a post that Drizzy uploaded to Instagram — only tohave beentakendown moments later.
The photo's caption reads, "...only for you SNL." Drake is actually hosting Saturday Night Live, May 14.
According to Complex Style, Drake was almost unrecognizable without his beard. Likewise, the source mentioned his reverted look as "baby-faced." Regarding Drake's beard, several people are now in perceived mourning.

However, all is not lost. Drake also noted that his beard will make an awesome comeback in two weeks. Actually, Drake used the phrase"epic comeback." In whatever way thatSNL convinced Drake to cut his beard, it must have been well-worth it for Drizzy to consider the temporary change. But, as the cliche' says, "Change is good," right?
This isn't Drake's first Saturday Night Live rodeo
Truth be told, this isn't the first time Drake has hosted SNL. Likewise, this isn't the first time he's gone clean-faced for the show. Word on Road recaps another instance that Drake looked similarly. The source notes that everything's going to be all right in the end.
Guys, he did this last time as well. It will be alright lol pic.twitter.com/oLoMNih8Ja

In Drizzy's past hosting, he did an exceptional job on SNL, as the host and actor —as well as the performer.
It seems the Saturday Night Live audience can get ready for more of the same. Drake (without beard) will be hosting, acting, and performing for millions of viewers across the world.
Drake's Views from SNL
And, honestly, this is great publicity for Drake, given that he just released his highly-anticipated Views album. Since its debut, several venues have promoted the Billboard-topping album.
In case you haven't heard or read, Drake's Views album is dominating the Billboard 100 right now.
All but two tracks (out of 20) have their own ranking within the top 100, with Drizzy's "One Dance" as number one.
Of course, however, that was accomplishedwith beard power, right? Don't hold off on the beard for too long, Drake. From the looks of your fans, it gives you the power.
Nevertheless, you can catch Drake on Saturday Night Live, on May 14, at 11:30 p.m., EST. Don't miss out.
