Over the last week, Donald Trump has been facing massive criticism from the Democratic Party and the majority of the mainstream media for how he allegedly handled a Phone Call to a widow of a recently fallen solider. In response, the president is not backing down with his personal defense of what took place.

This past Tuesday, Myeshia Johnson greeted the casket of her husband, Sgt.
La David Johnson, who was killed earlier this month during an ambush attack in Niger, Africa. Johnson was one of four Greet Berets who lost their lives during the incident. When the news broke of the attack, it was pushed to the back-pages as most of the media was focused on other issues, ranging from Donald Trump's feud with the National Football League, to the president's handling of the hurricane in Puerto Rico, to the future of legislation dealing with health care and tax reform. Despite this, the headlines were made due to Democratic Rep. Frederica Wilson, who was with Mrs. Johnson when she received a phone call from the president attempting to give condolences to the widow.
According to Wilson, Trump insulted Mrs. Johnson by saying her husband "knew what he signed up for," which allegedly brought her to tears. Trump and the White House have since pushed back at the congresswoman, which continued during a pair of October 21 tweets.
Taking to Twitter on Saturday morning, Donald Trump went back on the attack against Rep. Frederica Wilson. "I hope the Fake News Media keeps talking about Wacky Congresswoman Wilson in that she, as a representative, is killing the Democrat Party!" Trump tweeted out.
Not stopping there, Donald Trump went on to reply and retweet a post by a right-wing Twitter account called the "EaglePundit," which attached an image of Frederica Wilson with former President Barack Obama.
"She is. But they are focusing on her as a distraction from all your success and the massive Russian uranium bribery scandal. Facing team Obama and Hillary Clinton. So they rolled out their last hope, Frederica Wilson," the original post read. In response, Trump added, "People get what is going on!." The president's tweets come just a day after Wilson claimed that Trump had hired "white supremacists" to serve in his White House, while also accusing Chief of Staff John Kelly of using a "racist" term when he called her an "empty barrel" over her criticism of the aforementioned phone call.
