The police originally thought that it was an active shooter situation, however, they later updated the public, informing them that there was an altercation between two men that led to a bullet being fired. The public heard the gunshot and fled to the food court inside the mall. They were then rescued by police, who arrived on the scene within minutes.

According to Live News, two men got into an argument before a gunshot was fired. The men were seen by witnesses arguing outside of Lim's men's clothing store. The police reports state that one of the men took out a gun and fired a single gunshot. The bullet did not hit the other individual but did shatter the glass window. of a nearby store. The public heard the gunfire and began to run in a panic toward the food court.
The incident occurred on Monday, June 3. Police originally thought that the two men exchanged gunfire. However, the statement was recently amended following further investigation.
The two men fled the scene and police are still trying to locate them. The authorities went from store to store and safely evacuated the public. Officers have been praised for their quick response time as they arrived at the mall within 3 minutes of the emergency call.
The two men are still on the run

They have also released descriptions of the individuals involved. They are described as two black males between 5' 8" and 6 feet tall. One of the men walked with a limp and one had dreadlocks.
