Donald Trump met with Al Gore's former running mate, Joe Lieberman to consider him for Fbi Director. He has no experience in law enforcement, and many people are left scratching their heads to what qualification led Trump to believe that he would make a good head of the FBI.
Trump confirmed Lieberman is a 'contender'
The president told the press that Joe Lieberman is his leading candidate to assume the role of FBI director.
Trump has been searching for the past week for someone to replace James Comey, who was fired without warning last week after he allegedly refused to stop investigating Trump's administration's tie to Russia.

The POTUS said he is "very close" to making a decision and that his choice would be revealed "very soon."
Democrats aren't thrilled about Lieberman
According to the Washington Post, some senators have protested Joe as head of the FBI. Not only does he not having any experience in law enforcement, but he is also a former politician. They felt a politician is not the right person to lead the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
