Donald Trump now sits in the Oval Office of the White House. He was sworn in on January 20th, 2017, as the 45th President of the United States of America. Thousands of supporters were on hand to witness another chapter in America’s storied history. While the occasion was a celebrated event (with many famous celebrities on hand to entertain the spectators and well-wishers), there were also other attendees who demonstrated against Donald Trump becoming the next US leader.

The next four years and Trump's political inexperience

However, Trump’s presidency should be very interesting for the next four years since all the leaders before him were seasoned politicians, unlike Trump who has no political experience. Not to mention, that replacing the verbally gifted and charismatic President Barack Obama is a tall order for anyone.

Julian Assange has plans for Donald Trump

It has been two whole days since the inauguration, and while the new President is busy laying out the plans for his first 100 days in office, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has taken the charge to become the next major thorn in Donald Trump’s side.

The international non-profit organization on Sunday asked anyone with access to Donald Trump’s tax returns to make a submission through the infamous website. According to a post on Twitter, Assange is requesting the classified information, to make available to the public on his WikiLeakes site.

During the campaign trail, Trump refused to make his tax filings public. According to several news outlets, Trump has not paid taxes for several years.

White House petition receives 100,000 signatures

According to Assangne's Twitter post, Kellyanne Conway, who is Trump’s counselor, stated that the President would not release his tax returns (in an interview on the ABC show “This Week"). Conway also stated that the documents were not necessary because the people already voted and they do not care about the President's tax returns.

However, a petition filed with the White House has gained over 100,000 signatures, which is the required amount to get a response from the Trump administration.
