Just days ago, Kim Kardashian was tweeting about a mix-up in potential news regarding her baby boy. According to Kanye West's wife, she'd just heard the news that her child's surrogate mother had delivered. However, the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star dismissed those rumors, citing that if the information were accurate, she would've been at the hospital rather than in New York for the Met Gala.

Kim and Kanye make real announcement about surrogate

On May 10, Kim took to Twitter to express her excitement that baby number four had arrived. It wasn't rumor.

It wasn't a test. "He's here," Kardashian proudly tweeted. And although Kanye hasn't mentioned much about it via social media, as an interesting fact, Kim made another post. Apparently, the new baby looks like Chicago West. "He's also Chicago's twin lol," Kanye West's wife tweets. "I'm sure he will change a lot but now he looks just like her."

Surely, Kardashian, West, and the surrogate mother are all ecstatic about the baby's arrival. According to TMZ, the child was actually born late Thursday, May 9, although the announcement came hours later. Sometimes, even Celebrities need time to just "take it all in" and "be human." So, all in all, a source close to the family mentions that the child was 6 pounds, 9 ounces, TMZ states.

Reportedly, Kim and Kanye were at the hospital with the surrogate during birth. However, there's no confirmation regarding whether they were actually inside the delivery room. TMZ says they were inside for Chicago's birth. But, there's still no talk concerning the identity of the surrogate mother. However, the source says you can bet your bottom dollar it's someone they know is "equally capable."

By "equally capable," Kim Kardashian and Kanye West actually hired a new surrogate mother this time around.

But it wasn't because they were dissatisfied with the last one. TMZ states that this time, the one who carried Chicago wasn't available. Keep in mind, the surrogate was in her early 20's during the last pregnancy. Plus, interestingly enough, Kris didn't even know this surrogate mother was in labor with the new Kardashian. She actually found out on Ellen DeGeneres' show, while Kourtney explained the situation to the host, according to E!

"I thought it was kind of ridiculous to have a fourth baby shower," Kim Kardashian mentions to E! News regarding her surrogate. "But I thought 'I'm freaking the f**k out having a fourth kid.' So, because I'm freaking out and the baby is coming in, like, two weeks, I thought 'what better way to celebrate than to have a little CBD.'"

So, needless to say, Kim probably wasn't freaking out about her baby after that.
