Meghan Markle has discarded her previous identity as an actress in America and is gradually embracing the royal lifestyle as the wife of Prince Harry. The two of them attended the Audi Polo Challenge at Coworth Park in Ascot on July 1. The date had a special significance because it would have been the 57th birthday of Princess Diana, the mother of William and Harry.

Daily Mail UK reports that Meghan has displayed her dress sense on many occasions and at the polo, she wore jeans and an oversize white shirt.

She also opted for a pair of flat "black ballet pumps." It is easy to "negotiate the bumpy field" with such footwear instead of formal high heels.

Meghan and Harry at the Polo Club

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry entered the polo event at Ascot, Berkshire, using the rear entrance. The weather was bright and sunny and she wore a pair of sunglasses and a panama hat. Harry was relaxed in his short-sleeved T-shirt. They were accompanied by Serena Williams and her husband Alexis Ohanian. Both are good friends of Meghan and had attended the Royal wedding.

Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, delighted polo fans in the company of his brother for the second day on the trot, as he wowed spectators alongside his brother Prince William at the Coworth Park Polo Club.

Prince Harry participated in a charity match in Oxfordshire on Friday, where he made a surprise appearance at British Polo Day. There, Harry and the US-based Valiente team took on the UAE. It was in aid of the Royal Foundation and Sentebale, two charities of which he is a patron. He loves polo and has several matches lined up, which will provide ample opportunities to Meghan to watch him in action.

Influence of Princess Diana on Meghan Markle

According to People, the Audi Polo Challenge is special to both Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. They had appeared at the game last year and it was the first time the two of them went to a public event together. Meghan had never met Princess Diana, the mother of William and Harry, but wants to carry on her legacy.

It goes to show the love she has for Harry and his family.

Meghan used her wedding to show how she felt about her mother-in-law. Harry picked Forget-Me-Nots from their private garden at Kensington Palace. These were Diana’s favorite flowers and Meghan used them in her wedding bouquet. White garden roses were another favorite of Diana and the Duke and Duchess added them to the floral display at St. George’s Chapel to show their feelings for Diana.
