In September, the Duke and Duchess Of Cambridge announced that they are expecting another royal baby — their third child following Prince George, 4, and Princess Charlotte, 2. Kate Middleton suffered from acute hyperemesis gravidarum during this pregnancy, which prevented her from fulfilling most of her royal duties. The royal baby which is due any day from now and the current-and future-dad may have gotten so excited that he revealed the baby’s sex after their initial agreement to wait till when the baby is born.
The big reveal
According to People magazine, Prince William attended a sporting event in England, where he watched from the stands on Tuesday as his preferred soccer team, Aston Villa took on their rival, Cardiff City.
Afterward while celebrating the Aston villa’s win, Prince William was heard saying to Jack Grealish, “I’m going to insist the baby is called Jack,” But then he paused and added, “…or Jackie.”
And…well... we don’t want to make too much of this, but Prince William does seem to have provided a potentially major clue about the sex of the baby this week. After the little talk with Prince William, Grealish gave the Prince his game-winning shirt. The midfield star said: “It was really nice. He’s such a down-to-earth person.” Although the Duchess of Cambridge is due to give birth this month, the Royals have not revealed the gender of the baby or the baby's name either. Fans have been left to speculate on what the possible name might be.
Speculations on the royal baby’s name.
While "Jack" or "Jackie" isn't a widely-predicted royal baby name, this is a major hint that William and Kate are having a boy. The Duchess is expected to give birth any day now, and the Lido Wing hospital is already starting to prepare by suspending parking outside of the vicinity and putting up barriers.
The gender of the new baby has not yet been announced. From the first two royal baby names, it's no surprise that the bookies may pick traditional names for the new royal baby. From the predictions online by the royal fans, the most likely girl names are Mary, Alice, Arthur, Henry, and Victoria. And these are the boys and girls names favored by royals throughout the years, from James to Catherine.
The first royal fans have set up camp outside the hospital where the Duchess of Cambridge will give birth to her third child.
