The Balmain show at Paris Fashion Week invited Brazilian Soccer player Neymar, Jr. and Dani Alves to see the brand’s new collection, Daily Mail Online reported. The two soccer players even shared videos having fun on the runway.

The football superstars attended the brand’s fashion show which unveiled the Spring/Summer 2018 collection of Olivier Rousteing. This French fashion designer is also the creative director of Balmain, a brand that sells clothing for both men and women, footwear, accessories, and fragrances.

Neymar was wearing a stylish black ensemble featuring a plain-colored coat and the Catholic cross as a statement piece.

Meanwhile, his fellow athletes Alves wore a combination of a black blazer, white shirt, and sunglasses.

Dani Alves and Neymar, Jr. were just two of the highly-acclaimed celebrities and models who attended the Balmain fashion show held on Thursday, September 28. Both of them play for French football team Paris Saint-Germain and for the Brazil national team in their home country.

They graced Paris Fashion Week after Paris Saint-Germain’s successful match over Bayern Munich on September 27, a day before Balmain’s show. During London Fashion Week, Olympic diver Tom Daley also attended one of the shows.

These two football players certainly had fun in the show, as they shared videos of imitating models walk on the runway.

Alves tried strutting on the runway followed by Neymar behind him.

There were smartphones from their friends that captured these fun moments. They were even smiling and laughing as they did the act. It is unclear as to whether the scene was captured before the show or after it has ended. They shared the video on social media with the hashtag “Crazy Model.”

Balmain show

The latest collection of Balmain was a gradual transition from monochromatic colors to bright palettes.

It started with black-and-white ensembles featuring V-neck sweaters, leather dresses, and tulle, Vogue reported.

This ensemble also had a newsprint-inspired color scheme paired with accessories such as belts. Then, the show transformed into party dresses, ballerina tutus, and outfits that featured bright colors. Some of these include red and cobalt palettes.

After the successful run of the fashion shows in New York and Milan, Paris Fashion Week has been unveiling the collections of major brands and top designers in France. Some of these include Saint Laurent, Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga, and Lacoste.

It also includes world-renowned designers such as Alexander McQueen, Christian Dior, and Nina Ricci. The event is currently being held in the world’s fashion capital and will end on October 3.
