Is it too early to start preparing for summer 2017? Get that body looking right, and those vacation days requested, because before we know it, it'll be time for sundresses and suntans. And after it's all said and done, make sure you take in a music festival or two. Here are the five music festivals you can catch this summer:

AfroPunk

This festival is the ultimate celebration of multi-ethnic art and culture. We all know that music is the universal language that brings people together, and with festivals in four cities, Brooklyn, Paris, London, and Atlanta, Afropunk is doing just that.

Afropunk is as they would put it, "a safe place, a blank space to freak out in, to construct a new reality, to live your life as you see fit, while making sense of the world around you." No date has been set for the Atlanta or Brooklyn festivals yet, but if you want to get your wanderlust on, the Paris festival is July 15 & 16.

Coachella

No summer is complete without Coachella. Tap into your inner hippie and enjoy music from some of the biggest artists in the business. Coachella has been a staple in the summer music festival game for many years, however, this year is going to be more hype than ever, because none other than Queen Bey herself, will be headlining day 2 of the festival, so you already know you have to get in formation.

OVO Fest

You're going to need a passport for this one. But with past lineups including J Cole, Big Sean, Wiz Khalifa and more, Drizzy makes sure the trip is worth it. Although there's no announcement of the dates or lineup just yet, we can probably expect OVOFest to take place around late July or August.

This list showcases just a small piece of what to expect in summer 2017. Catch a vibe at Afropunk, Coachella and OVOFest, listen to some great music and celebrate life. This summer is going to be the ultimate celebration of music, culture, and community. I hope to see you there!
