Epic Games recently released the v8.40 update for "Fortnite Battle Royale" and data miners have once again found interesting files added to the game data. The video game developer has released some big changes to the game with the latest update, including map changes and a new weapon. Players can now use the Legendary Infantry Rifle, and it appears that Loot Lake will have another major in-game event.
Epic Games has added a lot of new files to the game data. Even before the latest patch came out, data miners found the Inferno bundle in the game data.
This bundle will include several cosmetic items, including an outfit/skin. It will also come with special challenges that will reward players with V-Bucks!
The Inferno set comes with amazing rewards
The best cosmetic item that comes in the Inferno bundle is the burning outfit players will get from it. It looks similar to the Legendary Wildcard outfit, which was available for purchase during the Getaway limited-time game mode. It is currently unknown when exactly the new set will come out, but it will definitely happen during Season 8 of the popular video game.
The Inferno bundle will come with a special pickaxe, an exclusive wrap, and four challenges which will have V-Bucks as the rewards. The pickaxe and the wrap will also have to be unlocked through challenges, and it appears that these will be the two final rewards of the challenge set.
"Fortnite Battle Royale" players will have to complete daily challenges in order to earn these items. Completing one such task will reward them with 100 V-Bucks, three challenges will reward 200 V-Bucks, while five and seven tasks will reward players with 300 and 400 V-Bucks respectively. In total, players who obtain the bundle will receive 1,000 V-Bucks, along with the other three cosmetic items.
Unlocking the pickaxe will require players to complete 10 daily challenges. Completing 14 of them will unlock the Inferno Wrap.
The previous bundle
Epic Games did something similar by releasing the Fall Ranger bundle to the in-game store a few months ago. The bundle was priced at $20. In addition to the cosmetic items included in it, players got special challenges that would reward them with 2,000 V-Bucks.
Considering that 2,000 V-Bucks cost $20, this was a great deal for everyone who liked the skin.
The upcoming bundle will reward up to 1,000 V-Bucks, so we can expect it to cost less than $20. However, considering that the skin is most likely either Epic or Legendary, I won't be surprised if it comes with the $20 price tag.
