It has brought "Avengers" fans to "Fortnite," while many players of the battle royale game who weren't familiar with the movie decided to watch it.

The promotion was mutually beneficial, which is why it is coming back in 2019 as well.

"Avengers: Endgame" is scheduled to be released on April 26, 2019 in the United States. However, it will be Epic Games who will promote the movie just before it comes out. The video game developer has released the official announcement for the crossover over social media, and it turns out that it will happen on April 25, just one day before the official release of the movie.

"Whatever it takes. 4.25.19.#FortniteXAvengers," is what Epic Games posted on the official Twitter page.

What makes this announcement interesting is the image that features a "Fortnite Battle Royale" character using Captain America's shield.

While Epic Games hasn't revealed any details about the crossover yet, it won't be surprising if we actually get "Avengers" skins this time. If not, then there is a good chance that the game creator makes crossover skins that feature "Fortnite" characters and some parts of superheroes who appear in the movie.

Limited-time game mode
