Epic Games has made "Fortnite Battle Royale" so popular that it has broken numerous gaming records. Even though the video game is not new anymore as it was released in September 2017, it still keeps going strong and is the most popular battle royale video game at the moment. It is unique, fun, and entertaining, and its developer keeps releasing weekly updates to keep the game fresh and fun to play.

Season 8 brought some huge changes to the popular video game, but some of these changes haven't been received well by the community. The siphon mechanic, which rewarded "Fortnite Battle Royale" players 50 health or shield after an elimination, was removed after being in the game for a few weeks.

Epic Games has kept this mechanic in competitive modes, but unfortunately, its removal from the regular playlists has caused a backlash from the community. The video game developer has promised a big change for the next week in a Reddit post.

Communication will be improved

Reddit user Rhymne posted a screenshot of the April survey released by Epic Games. This survey was made for players and is meant to gather feedback from them in terms of the quality of service they have received from the game developer. The Reddit user selected the "Strongly Disagree" option on the question about whether Epic Games listens to feedback from players, which has gained a lot of attention on the popular social network.

One of the developers noticed the post and decided to respond to it. Epic Games developer who goes by the name of DanDaDaDanDan revealed that the development team will change the approach to the community. "General feedback and sentiment is not lost on us - we should have communicated intent, motivation, and reasoning behind various changes to allow proper dialog.

We plan on changing our approach to communication next week," is what the developer posted.

While it is sometimes extremely difficult to listen to the community and make their wishes come true, there is no doubt that the "Fortnite Battle Royale" developer could have done a much better job communicating with players. Next week, we can expect Epic Games to at least explain why the siphon mechanic was removed from the regular playlists.

However, there is a chance that the mechanic will be brought back to the game as well.

Next update

Epic Games will release another update for "Fortnite Battle Royale" next week. It will most likely be released between Tuesday, April 23, and Thursday, April 25. The upcoming update could bring some huge changes to the game, including vehicle changes. In addition, there is a good chance that the game will once again get the "Avengers" limited-time game mode.
