For the past week, Epic Games has been slowly releasing smaller events which lead to the ending of Season 8 of "Fortnite Battle Royale." The season, which has brought some huge changes to the video game, is scheduled to end in early May, and it will be followed by the ninth season. At the moment, there aren't many details about the next season, but we can expect more big changes that will be released for every "Fortnite" mode.
Even though the "Fortnite Battle Royale" developer hasn't announced any official information regarding Season 9, data miners have found one feature that will come with it.
It turns out that the gifting system will soon have more options. In addition to this, there is a good chance that Epic Games makes the system permanent as it had only been released as a temporary feature a few times.
Gifting system improvements
The video game creator is still working on improving the gifting feature and making sure it does not have any bugs. Considering that this feature could be used by scammers, Epic Games has decided to have some limitations on it. For example, "Fortnite Battle Royale" players are not able to send their locker skins to their friends, to gift Battle Passes, to send more than three gifts per day, and more. Some of these things will definitely be changed in the future, and one of them is coming with Season 9.
Even though the gifting system is currently available in the video game, players cannot gift the Season 8 Battle Pass to their friends. Only the items from the Item Shop can be gifted, but that will be changed with the next season. "Fortnite" players will be able to gift the Season 9 Battle Pass to their friends, and the gifting feature will most likely become permanent with the release of the season.
Starting Season 9, you’ll be able to gift the Battle Pass to users via the Gifting System 👍🏼

Twitter data miner FNBRLeaks has shared this information with the community, revealing what is going to be a huge addition to the video game. With this change, Epic Games will be able to make a huge profit from the upcoming Battle Pass since it will be available to a wider audience.
The Season 8 Battle Pass hasn't made the game developer a lot of money since a lot of players have earned it for free, but it is very unlikely that the next one will be free as well.
