"Fortnite: Battle Royale" patch v8.10 is already live and a lot of new changes have been made to the game with this update. Along with "The Baller" vehicle, which is equipped with a grappler, other big cosmetic items have also been added to "Fortnite" with this patch. The Vending Machines have also received a major change and now they dispense weapons and items free of cost but disappear from the map after a single use.

Other changes in patch v8.10

The common variant of the Infantry Rifle has been removed from the game and Heavy Assault Rifles have also been nerfed.

The previous Rare/Epic/Legendary rarity of Heavy Assault Rifle has been reduced to Common/Uncommon/Rare rarity, respectively. The new damage scaling for Common/Uncommon/Rare Heavy Assault Rifle is 36/38/40. Max stack size of Clingers have been reduced to 6 from 10 and some minor adjustments to the spawn rate for the Treasure Map have also been made, making them a little harder to find.

With the latest update, Epic Games has finally added animations for Shield Potions and Bandages whenever a player uses them. A Crossplay Matchmaking feature which combines PS4 and Xbox one player pools and Nintendo Switch and Mobile player pools have also been added to "Fortnite."

Finally, Season five's popular LTM "The Getaway" is also returning this week.

Data miners were able to find some new cosmetic items in the game files that are related to a new set of challenges, similar to the Highstakes challenges.

Leaked outfits in patch v8.10

After the latest update went live, data miners were quick to dig into the new game files and a slew of new cosmetic items, along with a new starter pack has been found in the game.

The first animated wrap has also been leaked and it is a magma themed wrap which gives weapons and vehicles a smoky look.

It should be noted that the Laguna outfit is rumored to be the part of a new starter pack and just like other starter packs, the skins also comes with a pineapple like backbling, wrap and V-Bucks.

Last but not least, the rumored "High stakes" challenges will reward players with a pickaxe, three crystal llama backblings, loading screen, spray paint, and a contrail.
