Epic Games employees love hinting at different stuff in "Fortnite Battle Royale." They have done this numerous times on social media, and each time, they have been very subtle about it.
Donald Mustard, Worldwide Creative Director of "Fortnite," has recently hinted at the dragon mystery being revealed soon. Considering that we are already six weeks into season 7, we can expect some big things and events to happen soon, and some of them may include dragons.
Fortnite's director hints at dragons
Donald Mustard has already hinted at some big "Fortnite Battle Royale" events. First, he hinted at the Butterfly event by changing his Twitter profile location to "The In-Between." The Butterfly event was all about another dimension which opened to players at Loot Lake, and Mustard has subtly hinted at it before it happened.
Mustard has hinted at the big season 7 change as well. He did it once again by changing his Twitter location.
This time, the location was changed to "The Iceberg," and as we all know, Epic Games has added a huge iceberg to the island, which turned the southwestern part of the map into a snowy area.
This time, the creative director of the popular video game has set his location as "The Dungeon." This is an obvious hint at the Polar Peak castle and the dragon eggs which can be found beneath it.
The eggs can be found by accessing the lower area of the castle, its dungeon, and this hint makes us believe that the dragon eggs mystery will be solved very soon!
Right now, it is unknown what the purpose of dragons is going to be. However, many "Fortnite Battle Royale" players believe that they will be used as in-game mounts or "vehicles." Considering that Epic Games has added airplanes at the start of season 7, it won't be surprising if we get more game-changing items in the future.
Next patch
The next "Fortnite Battle Royale" patch will be the v7.20 and it will most likely be released on Tuesday, January 15. This will be the first big patch since the v7.10 update, as the last three releases were simply content updates that required no client update or server downtime.
