“Fortnite” players are as of late grinding for those Battle Stars in the current season’s (Season 7) week 3 challenges. However, some folks have noticed a bit of an issue in one of the challenges that prompted Epic to respond.

Reddit user u/FrazzleFlib recently took to r/FortNiteBR to show that something’s not right in one of the hard challenges in week 3 where players are required to do a couple of Legendary eliminations. Per the post, the Redditor claims that it only rewards players with just five Battle Stars instead of 10. This got a lot of players pretty much concerned as they are musing as to how they will be compensated for this issue.

Fix incoming

Someone from Epic Games (u/spazinski) responded to the post stating that it was not intentional and confirmed that it was indeed a bug. Spazinski pointed out, though, that a fix for this issue will be ready in the V7.20 update adding that it’s totally fine to complete the challenges now. He also assured players that they will be compensated on this issue adding that it won’t be that long before the above-mentioned patch goes live.

Meanwhile, week 3’s paid set of challenges has a task where players will be looking for five Battle Stars between three ski lodges. Gamespot also covered this story as they detailed where these stars are hiding. Per the publication, these ski lodges can be found between Frosty Flights and Happy Hamlet in the southwest corner of the island.

Week 4 leaked

In line with this, it looks like the roster of challenges for next week (week 4) may have been leaked. Fortnite Intel pointed out, however, that these tasks are not yet official and very much likely that it will be updated, not to mention that there’s a bit of intel missing from the leaked challenges:

Free Challenges

  • Pickaxe damage (10 Battle Stars)
  • Stage one: Destroy chairs (1)
  • Stage two: Destroy wooden utility poles (1)
  • Final stage: Destroy wooden pallets (1)
  • Search the letter “O” west of Pleasant Park (1)
  • Search the letter “S” in Wailing Woods (1)
  • Search the letter “M” in Dusty Divot (1)
  • Search the letter “N” under a frozen lake (1)

Battle Pass Challenges

  • Use the X-4 in different matches
  • Eliminations at Pleasant Park or Happy Hamlet
  • Eliminating opponents at all Expedition Outposts
  • Launch Fireworks

The above-mentioned challenges are believed to be rolled out on December 27, though Fortnite Intel stated that there’s a possibility that it might get delayed.
