"Dark Souls 3," the fourth and the last entry in the hugely popular action role-playing video game has received a huge treat this week. A brand new video has been released to the gaming world, showcasing some of the highlights of the game series and unused contents.
According to the gaming-focused website PlayStation Lifestyle, the newly released video reveals tons of contents, mostly enemies that have not made it into the final game release. The new video was made by Lance McDonald, who is known for the "Dark Souls" community for his discoveries of cuts and unused contents.
The controversial video by Lance McDonald
As mentioned earlier by Wccftech, there are many unused contents. The new video features some of the enemies and bosses that didn’t make it into the game’s final release, which include Oceiros, Baby Ocelotte, and a couple of new enemies. The video shows off contents that are totally different creature designs from the actual game release.
While playing the alpha version of the game, McDonald discovered something new and intriguing. He was able to access features that were not intended to be seen by the players, and one of them is a boss named Angel of Dragons.
But the most controversial are the changes made with the hostile enemies, which has been reportedly repurposed to help "Dark Souls" players in the final game release.
