"Fortnite Season 5, Week 6 challenges are live, and they appear to be genuinely difficult tasks for earning the fifty Battle Stars and six-thousand experience points. If you're a new "Fortnite" player, then earn as many Battle Stars as you can because they are used in upping the Battle Pass tier-level (up to 100 tier-levels) and unlocking different cosmetic items, emotes, and loading screen wallpapers. If you are having difficulty completing this week's tasks, then fear not, below I have listed the easiest ways and methods for earning this week's rewards.
Here's are the tasks that you'll have to do this week:
- Deal headshot damage to opponents (500 damage)
- Harvest building resources with a pickaxe (3,000)
- Search where the stone heads are looking (Hard; 10)
- Search chests in Lonely Lodge (7)
- Complete timed trials (5)
- Minigun or light-machine-gun eliminations (Hard; 2)
- Eliminate opponents in Tilted Towers (Hard; 3)
An easy way to take headshot in Fortnite
It's not rocket science to learn how to point and shoot at the head, but currently, the best way to accumulate 500 damage would be to land in the Sniper Shootout game mode. Although the sniper mechanics in "Fortnite" are a bit hard to master, once you get a hold of it, you'll absolutely dominate the Sniper Shootout mode.
Calculate your distance from the opponent and take a steady shot if your opponent is moving. Check out the video below for tips on using sniper:
Where the stone heads are looking
There are a total of seven stone heads on the map and if you want to find them, you can take a look at "thesquatingdog's" all-in-one week 6 cheat sheet, but finding the stone heads isn't necessary for this challenge.
According to Variety, you'll notice all of them are pointing at Salty Springs. You can head straight to the small hill located west of Salty Springs and get the Battle Star.
Chest locations in Lonely Lodge
Below is a list of all the chest locations in Lonely Lodge:
- Near the huge house in the southeastern portion of Lonely Lodge.
- There's a chest in the middle room of the basement.
- There's one on the lower floor that leads out onto the edge of a cliff.
- In the room at the top of the tall wooden watchtower
- Halfway up the tower, in the middle.
- At top of the tower, on the balcony.
- In the building located at the northern part of Lonely Lodge.
- In a small cavern, located at the western side of Lonely Lodge.
You only need to find seven chests in order to complete the challenge.
Timed Trial challenge
Several stopwatches appeared on the map at the start of week 6 of season 5. These stopwatches start a Timed Trial as soon as you pick them up. Here's the location of the stopwatches:

As soon as you pick up the stopwatch, blue markers appear nearby. You'll need to quickly sprint through them, but some of the markers require you to build as well. So the best way for you to collect all the markers would be to build before you start the challenge.
As for the rest of the two challenges, it depends on your skills and luck. And as always, be sure to finish the match after completing a challenge in order to get the rewards for it.
