The fourth week of "Fortnite Battle Royale" season 5 is slowly coming to an end as players are preparing for new weekly challenges. This season, which has brought many changes to the map, allows players to level up their skins even after the season ends, which is why so many players have taken a casual approach to weekly challenges. Still, getting the top tier skin requires tier 100, which is something that requires a lot of time.

Week 5 challenges will be released on Thursday, August 9, but they have been already revealed. Like in the previous weeks, there will be seven challenges in total, with three of them being free.

All seven challenges will be available to Battle Pass owners and completing all of them will reward players with 50 Battle Stars and 5,000 Season XP.

Search chests in Junk Junction

The first free challenge will require "Fortnite Battle Royale" players to open seven chests in Junk Junction. This is the same challenge players had to complete in the fourth season, so most of them are familiar with it. Even though Junk Junction is not a popular landing spot, there is no doubt that it will be a hot area on Thursday.

Use rift portals

Season 5 has brought rift portals which allow players to move around the map quickly. For this task, getting into three rifts will be enough to earn five Battle Stars.

Eliminate opponents (Hard)

The last free challenge will probably be the easiest one as its only requirement is to get three eliminations. For some reason, this is classified as a hard challenge, which means players will get one Battle Pass tier after completing it.

Deal damage to players with a Clinger, Stink Bomb, or Grenade

This explosive task will require players to deal 300 damage with the three explosives.

Considering that each of these explosives does massive damage to opponents, this shouldn't be hard to complete.

Hit a Hole In One from different tees

The fifth challenge will have players visit Risky Reels and play golf. The goal will be to hit a hole-in-one from five different tees.

Follow the treasure map found in Greasy Grove (Hard)

The week 5 treasure map will be found in Greasy Grove and going to the location marked on the map will give players one Battle Pass tier.

Eliminate opponents in Shifty Shafts (Hard)

The final challenge which will be released on Thursday will be about action in Shifty Shafts. Players will have to get three eliminations in this area in order to get 10 Battle Stars and complete the task.
