"Fortnite Battle Royale" players are currently exploring the island that was modified with the latest patch. Patch 5.0 brought season 5 of the popular video game, and it has also changed many places on the map. Even though this was one of the biggest updates in the history of this game, it seems that Epic Games is not done yet and will keep adding new items to keep the game fun.

Data miners have been very busy lately as the last patch added many new files to the game data. One of the new files that were found indicates that Pool Floaty will be added to "Fortnite Battle Royale" soon.

According to the data mined information, this item will be similar to a Launch Pad as it will be used to help players move quickly over the island.

Pool Floaty

Pool Floaty item was first leaked by FNBRLeaks' Twitter page. This page is well known for accurate leaks discovered by data mining, so we can expect this item to be released soon. Considering that Epic Games releases weekly updates for "Fortnite Battle Royale," it won't be surprising if we get the new item next Thursday.

In-game description of the item states the following: "Inflatable pool floaty. Poke a hole to send yourself flying!" Considering that the item has this description, it's safe to say that it will be used for a quicker transport around the island.

However, unlike the Launch Pad, this item most likely won't be a trap and it will take up an inventory slot.

What makes this item even more special is the fact that it has a legendary rarity.

There are only two other legendary consumable items in the game, Bush and Chug Jug. Considering that this will be an extremely rare item, we can expect it to be very effective and valuable.

Season 5

Season 5 of "Fortnite Battle Royale" was released on July 12 and it has brought many new improvements to the game. Besides the new Battle Pass that rewards players with over 100 rewards, the game developer added several modifications to the in-game island.

Players got a new biome, desert, and a couple of new towns.

Additionally, players can now use rifts to travel quickly around the map. Epic Games added these rifts around the map along with a new vehicle that helps players run away from the storm. Unlike the shopping cart, the new vehicle has room for four players, and it is much faster. Lastly, players will be able to unlock skin upgrades even after the season ends, which is a fantastic addition for everyone who can't play often.
