Capcom had some good and bad gaming news for the fans of their action role-playing game "Monster Hunter World." The good news is that the game will receive a major update. The bad news is that the game may not be coming to Nintendo Switch.
According to Dualshockers, the game will get an updated event as well as challenge quest schedule, which starts this week until July 19.
Additionally, the game will also get a brand new event, which will be named the "Summer Twilight Fest."
The gaming-focused website also reported that almost all of the previous event quests will be made available to the public, which will start from July 13 to July 26. There are also login bonuses, limited bonuses as well as big surprises.
The bad news
Unfortunately, Capcom has some bad news for some of its fans, especially the switch owners. "Monster Hunter World" may not be coming to Nintendo Switch due to some technical issues, according to GamesRadar. But Capcom confirmed that it has big plans for Nintendo’s portable console, the website added.
Capcom has already expressed its interest in bringing the action RPG to Nintendo Switch in the near future. The developer has even suggested the possibility of a Monster Hunter game developed especially for the Nintendo Switch console.
For the meantime, while waiting for Switch version, Switch console owners may still enjoy the much-talked "Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate," which will arrive on August. This new update will bring the original 3DS game from 2016 to the portable console along with some updated contents and graphics.

Players take the role of a player-created character that travels and roams the New World, a fictional land mass filled with monsters. It’s a major installment in the "Monster Hunter" game series. The game was first released on PS4 and Xbox One in January 2018, while the PC version is scheduled later this year.
The player takes the role of a Hunter, whose main task is to hunt down and kill the monster that roams in one of several environmental spaces. If the task completed, the player will be rewarded. The game supports both single-player mode and cooperative mode or up to four players via the game’s online services.
The game was first announced at E3 2017 event. "Monster Hunter World" has become the fastest-selling game in Capcom’s history, selling over 7.9 million copies within a few days of its release.
"Monster Hunter World" is currently available on PS4 and Xbox One, with the Windows version scheduled for later this year.
