Patch 4.2 for "Fortnite Battle Royale" has been recently released, but unfortunately for the players, it did not bring the refund feature back. Epic Games hasn't given players any details on when the in-game refund feature could return, but many hoped that the latest patch would bring it back. However, many players don't know that they can still get a refund for their "Fortnite Battle Royale" purchases.

The in-game refund feature allowed players to return their cosmetic items and get V-Bucks back. Unfortunately, the featured was removed shortly after its release as the game developer found a bug with it.

Many players haven't even gotten a chance to use the feature, but Epic Games has an alternative for those players, and the alternative might be even better than the removed feature!

How to get a refund

First of all, it is important to note that, by using this method, you will get your money back after a refund. This means that you will be able to turn your purchased V-Bucks into money, instead of turning cosmetic items into V-Bucks. You can request a refund through Epic Games' official website, and you will be notified if it has been accepted or not.

To request a refund for your "Fortnite Battle Royale" purchase, go to Epic Games' support center at fortnitehelp.epicgames.com, then select "How do I request a refund?" item that can be found under "Epic Games Billing Support" category.

After you open the page, you will be asked to fill out the form, and when you do it, your request will be sent to the game developer. You can request a refund for any Epic Games product, not just "Fortnite."

Keep in mind that you will have to give correct information regarding your purchases, including the exact time of transactions, your name, the currency you used for your purchases, and more.

Epic Games may or may not approve your refund request, so make sure you use this form for accidental purchases only.

Week 3 hidden Battle Star

The new patch didn't bring the refund feature back, but it did add another hidden Battle Star. After completing every week 3 challenge, "Fortnite Battle Royale" players will unlock a special blockbuster loading screen which reveals the location of the hidden star.

This week, the star can be found on a hill close to Fatal Fields, so go over there, pick it up, and earn a free Season 4 Battle Pass tier!

If you have problems locating the star, take a look at the video below for the detailed explanation.
