Capcom is set to reveal new contents for "Street Fighter 5" at the 2017 New York Comic-Con event. Fans speculated that Zeku will be the last DLC character added to the sequel's season 2 fighter pack.

New York Comic-Con appearance confirmed

Capcom announced that they will be attending this year's New Yor Comic-Con event and present new game contents for "Street Fighter 5" and "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" during their Twitch panel on Oct. 6. The event will take place at 1:45 PM EDT/10:45 PM EST and players can tune in for their panel on the streaming website's main channel.

The Japanese game publisher has been busy working and announcing new contents for both games such as new Halloween themed costumes for several characters in "Street Fighter 5" and additional DLC fighters for "MvC: Infinite's" roster.

While the new contents for the sequel are still unknown, video game dataminer X-Kira claims that new game modes, stages, and characters would be revealed during the event. Two new stages are connected to newcomers Kolin and Menat, while Urien and Birdie's stages are added to the game. There are also new character costume slots on the roster, but X-Kira does not know what they look like.

New game modes would include "Dramatic Battle," "Dojo," and "Extra Battle." Dramatic Battle was first featured in the "Alpha" series as players will have to fight two characters at the once.

Dojo is hinted to be a new form of training mode, while Extra Battles could be the sequel's Arcade Mode.

Zeku joins the roster?

Capcom could also announce the last DLC fighter for "Street Fighter 5" Season 2 at NYCC 2017 as video game fans speculated that Guy's master, Zeku will join the sequel's roster.

YouTube username Vesper Arcade stated in his video that Zeku's gameplay will be similar to Guy with a few key differences to make the character unique.

The latter will join season 2 characters Akuma, Kolin, Ed, Abigail and Menat in the game. Capcom is also rumored to be working on season 3 and characters like Sagat, Sakura, Oro, C. Viper, Q, and Necro are hinted for the DLC pack.

The sequel will also have new customizable V-Moves, V-Triggers, and Critical Arts. X-Kira explained that the filename "ver = 2" will add a secondary finisher for each fighter and players can change it before the start of a match. The game developers plan to extend the V-System's capabilities in order to make new changes for the sequel's fighting system.
