“Grand Theft Auto V” surprised players with their latest update for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. In celebration of the game’s 4th anniversary, the game developer, Rockstar, announced that they would be offering discounts for vehicles and properties apart from the giveaway and the new Adversary Mode in time for Halloween.

The surprise of the Halloween event

Players of the game can take part in the Halloween event where a new mode called, “Condemned,” will be introduced. The event will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One versions. Since it marks the game’s anniversary, players who log in during the event will get a whopping $400,000 reward.

That is $400,000 worth of free money that you can use to purchase items in preparation for the Halloween event.

If you want to claim your $400,000, you just need to log-in on “GTA 5 Online” until November 6. This bonus will arrive in your Maze Bank Account after November 6. Although this amount cannot necessarily buy that many items, it can make a lot of difference. Plus, it just shows that Rockstar may give away more in-game cash in the future.

The last man standing

Condemned mode marks a “Grand Theft Auto” player for imminent death. This player will die once the timer runs out. But there is one way to escape death: The marked player can pass the bad news to another player by killing them. This mode is a Battle Royale style competition where the last player standing wins.

The rewards include double GTA$ and RP until November 6.

Other than the new event, there will also be a new vehicle to be introduced: The Vigilante. This new vehicle is packed with rocket propulsion technology and has machine guns. According to the game developers, the Vigilante is built to strike fear and justice. You can put this new vehicle to use during the Halloween event and get the double payout of GTA$ and RP.

The well-loved Halloween masks and face paints will also come on a 25% discount. All players will get a trio of in-game horror film shirts as a price for logging in.
