New life and objectives

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp” is the latest game to grace the mobile gaming market. In their recent, direct, Nintendo just gave us a preview of what to expect from the game. From the video’s beginning to it's end, the new game looks absolutely good.

Pocket Camp” will be different than all of the franchise’s games so so far.

The new entry in the series will have the players manage a campsite, rather than be a normal villager or mayor of a town. As a new manager, your role is to attract customers to visit your campsite. In order to do this, players need to do a lot of customization and other renovations to the campgrounds.

The game opens with the basics, just like every “Animal Crossing” game so far; the players can create their own character. Starting from the gender down to the eye color, players can choose how they want to look like inside the game. After that, you may now begin to start your life as a manager. Of course, for us to establish ourselves in the game; we need Bells. To do that, players have to collect materials and build furniture for their campground.

Cyrus who will be in charge of creating this furniture will be glad to accept your request anytime.

To get materials in the game, players can simply visit Saltwater Shores, Sunburst Island, and Breezy Hallow. As you collect materials, try to take note of the game’s real-time feature; some items may only be available at certain times in the day.

Furniture and Microtransactions

After getting enough materials, the players can now go to Cyrus to make furniture. However, Just like in “Animal Crossing: New Leaf;” Cyrus’ furniture building will take some time to complete depending on the order. While you wait for it to be done, you can head over to other familiar shops like the Kicks, Nookling Global, Able Sisters to shop.

Although we won’t be having a house, players can decorate their very own campervan in the game. New bird characters Carlo, Giovanni, and Beppe will sell the furniture you’ll need to decorate your motorhome. The trailer also showed other customization features like adding another floor, changing the van’s paint job and much more. Just like in the past games, you can pay these alterations via loan app.

Of course, a mobile game will not be complete without interacting with other players. In “Pocket Life,” players will be given a 12-digit code as an ID to visit other players. You can exchange these with your friends to allow you to visit their campgrounds at any given moment.

Lastly, the upcoming “Animal Crossing” will have Microtransactions.

According to the trailer, players can purchase Leaf Tickets in exchange for real-life money. Leaf Tickets can be used in various things in the game like speeding up Cyrus’ job, enhance your chances of gathering materials and much more.
