“The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild” is arguably one of the best games released this year. Taking fans by surprise, Nintendo previously mentioned that it would be a title for the Nintendo Switch. The game has earned a lot of fans since then, with many stating that it is worthy of being Game of the Year. That said, the excitement has died down over the past few months as other games have been popping up on the market. However, a new update has seemingly revitalized “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.”

Sharing the journey

The Nintendo Switch has just gotten another update that added some cool new features to the system.

Aside from pre-loading games, fans could also record 30 seconds of their gameplay via the Capture Button. However, this feature only works with four games at the moment: “ARMS,” “Splatoon 2,” “Mario Kart 8 Deluxe,” and “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.” That said, many Switch fans have been revisiting the “Zelda” game to show off some of their wacky gameplay, as per Kotaku. It has been the most popular shared game under the “#NintendoSwitch” video tab, with most of these videos focusing on Yiga clan members.

With these clips, it’s easy to see why fans love “BotW” so much. The game has extremely flexible mechanics while boasting some pretty impressive graphics. With “Mario” out tomorrow, maybe we will see similar videos in the near future.

DLC coming soon

That aside, “BotW” is slated to get one final piece of DLC later this year. Titled the Champions Ballad, it will be a story update that follows Link, Zelda, and the rest of the champions.

While we still know very little about it, it seems like the DLC might take place before the events of the main game. Moreover, Link will still be the main character. Those who wanted to play as Zelda might have to wait for another game.

Nintendo previously released a different “BotW” DLC earlier this year called The Master Trials.

While it didn’t expand the plot, the DLC added a much more difficult mode along with the Master Trials. Here, players had to survive 100 levels with increasing difficulty. If they managed to make it to the end without dying, they will be rewarded with the Master Sword’s true power. This is basically when the Master Sword glows when there are dark forces near the field. Those who want to play “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” can get a copy for the Nintendo Switch or Wii U.
