The holidays are as close as ever and that means new games! Nintendo recently released an info-graphic displaying their planned games for Fall 2017, what to look forward to for the holidays, and 2018 games. Below are a few of the games that are scheduled to come out and what they are all about.

Fall 2017

"Super Mario Odyssey"

The upcoming game, as part of the Super Mario series, is planned to be released on October 27, 2017 for the Nintendo Switch. It features open-ended, exploration-based gameplay that can be found in "Super Mario 64" and "Super Mario Sunshine." Players will explore new locales such as New Donk City and run into familiar friends and foes as you try to save Princess Peach from Bowser’s wedding plans.

Mario gains a new ally named “Cappy” that gives Mario new abilities such as: cap jump, cap throw, and capture. You can also play with a friend, player 1 controlling Mario and player 2 controlling Cappy. Nintendo stated that it would release a special edition Nintendo Switch hardware bundle alongside the game. The special edition includes a download code for the full game, red left and right Joy-Con controllers, and a "Super Mario Odyssey" themed Nintendo Switch carrying case.
