Electronic Arts featured “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” actor John Boyega as the narrator in the newest trailer for “Star Wars: Battlefront 2.” The famous actor previewed all the major features and content in the upcoming epic space action shooter title.
The sneak peek is aptly titled “This is Star Wars: Battlefront 2.” Seemingly, it offers an enthralling glimpse at the best reasons why players would love the sequel, with Boyega as an added attraction.
Players get to take a quick look at the new maps, game modes, heroes, vehicles, and other exciting details to know about the game.
Sequel's content tripled
Based on the latest trailer, the next Battlefront game triples the number of new maps, characters, and vehicles featured in the first title. For maps, it includes 18 locations spanning from three generations of Star Wars.
Among the new areas featured in the teaser are Starkiller Base, Yavin 4, Hot, Endor, and Mos Eisley. The single-player, on the other hand, gets different locations like Bespin, Sullut, Pillio, and Vardos.
Star Cards system
Moreover, Electronic Arts also revealed the revamped Star Cards system and the different rarities in the footage. There is quite a number of modes shown as well. These include the Starfighter Assault, Strike, Blast, and Heroes vs. Villains, all of which will be available in the base game upon release.
Some of the highlights further teased Battle Points, the in-game currency and the Arcade mode, which supports offline and online as well as split-screen.

Open Beta system requirements
In more news, EA detailed the PC system requirements of the Open Beta prior to release in October. So, before the day comes, PC users should see to it that their systems meet the minimum or recommended specs.
Via the newly launched open beta info page, EA announced the open beta PC system specs including the details on how interested players can gain access to the testing.

The minimum specs are 64-bit Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 OS, AMD FX-6350 or Intel Core i5 6600K processor, 8GB RAM, AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 2GB GPU, DirectX 11.0 Compatible video card or equivalent and 15GB space.
The recommended specs are 64-bit Windows 10 OS or later, AMD FX 8350 Wraith or Intel Core i7 6700 processor, 16GB RAM, AMD Radeon RX 480 4GB or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB, DirectX: 11.1 Compatible video card or equivalent and 15GB hard-drive space.
In terms of internet connection, it should be 512 KBPS or faster.
The open beta begins on October 6 and ends on October 9. Gamers who pre-order “Star Wars: Battlefront 2” for PC, PS4, or Xbox One by September 30 will be granted with a two-day early access to the beta on October 4.
