NetherRealm Studios recently released the debut trailer of the second character included in the Fighter Pack 2 of “Injustice 2.” The awesome video showcased the impressive moves of the Lightning God along with Black Lightning Premiere skin. The second character is expected to be released in October 2017.

However, it appears that Xbox One users can now use Raiden ahead of its scheduled release in the game. There is a recently discovered glitch that some players shared that enables them to use the character even if it is not yet officially released.

The glitch was discovered after the previous patch was released, which deleted the gears.

New glitch

It appears that the deletion of the gears in “Injustice 2” is not the only issue that NetherRealm Studios will have to solve. While the most recent patch sends some players into a frenzy, it has a good side at least for Xbox One users. In the game’s official forum, several players shared that the Lightning God Raiden can now be downloaded and used by Xbox One users.

At this point, it is not yet confirmed if this is because of the glitch brought along by the previous patch. It is possible that NetherRealm Studios has deliberately made the character available for download for the Microsoft console.

Microsoft has not yet made any comment about the recent glitch and the game developer has not also revealed the reason why it is now available for download on the console.

Patch 1.09

A few days ago, patch 1.09 was released for the fan-favorite fighting title. The update was originally intended to roll out fixes for several bugs in the game.

It also introduced a number of quality of life improvements. The latest patch also introduced Legendary Multiverse portals for characters like Flash, Deadshot, Catwoman, Supergirl, and Scarecrow to name a few. Moreover, it increased the stats of Legendary items and decreased the playing time for players to earn a reward.

After the patch rolled in, numerous players noticed that their gears were deleted.

Others reported that their shaders were lost. The uproar can now be seen in many forums, which is understandable. These rare gears are hard to acquire because of the RNG loot box system. Fortunately, NetherRealm Studios announced today on Twitter that the team is aware of the latest issue. The developer assured players that at present, there is an ongoing investigation to resolve the issue.

Meanwhile, you can check out the latest debut trailer of the Lightning God--Raiden. He is expected to be officially available in “Injustice 2” in October.
