The latest updates for "Injustice 2" will feature a PC version spotted in two retailer websites and new character gears for Wonder Woman, Black Manta, and Green Arrow.
PC version leaked online
It seems that the PC version of "Injustice 2" has been spotted in Amazon France and Dutch retailer website GameMania. The sequel is currently available on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, and GameMania revealed that the game would launch on the PC platform this year.
Amazon France posted the Deluxe Edition of the game for the PC platform. NetherRealm Studios has typically never made their PC ports and has handed their games off to other developers.
High Voltage handled "Mortal Kombat X" for the PC before Warner Bros.replaced them with QLOC, who launched the fixed version of the game.
For now, NetherRealm Studios has not made any comments about the leaked "Injustice 2" PC version on the two European websites. The game producer Ed Boon stated during last year's San Diego Comic-con event that it is "pretty likely" that the sequel will land on the PC platform.
The game developers are currently busy promoting new playable characters for the sequel's DLC pack 2. Black Manta will launch this month, while Raiden and Hellboy could be out in October and November.
New character gears
NetherRealm Studios announced that new gears for "Injustice 2" characters Wonder Woman, Green Arrow, and Balck Manta.
Wonder Woman will have a new Legendary Amazon sword and shield in the game, but players will not be able to buy or unlock them in Mother Boxes. Instead, they will have to earn each piece at in her multiverse event.
Black Manta's alternate gear was spotted in the sequel's "Watchtower" live-stream during his fight with Aquaman.
The latter is a mid-range fighter who uses daggers, rocket launchers, lasers, and a few Atlantean magic to deal devastating combos to his opponents.
NetherRealm community head Tyler Lansdown announced that Green Arrow would have his signature green hood as a new character gear in the sequel after gaming fans have noticed that Oliver Queen did not have one on his gear sets.
"Mortal Kombat" character Kitana, Black Lightning, and Black Hand were teased as possible playable fighters in the DLC pack 3, but Boon denied the notion of Kitana in the roster. Black Lightning has been speculated to be a possible character skin for Raiden since the have the same powers. This leaves Black Hand to be one of the possible candidates for the third DLC pack.
Other characters that fans want to see in "Injustice 2's" third DLC pack include John Constantine, Zatanna, Hawkgirl, The Atom, Vibe, Ra's al Ghul, Rorschach, Spawn and Doctor Manhattan.
