Gun Media and Illfonic released a new trailer today announcing the next downloadable content coming to “Friday the 13th: The Game.” Dubbed as Spring Break 1984 Clothing Pack, the content will introduce beach wears for the Counselors of the asymmetrical horror survival title. Aside from the upcoming DLC, the trailer also hints at the possibility of one of the many new kills of Jason in the game.

Latest trailer

A few weeks ago, Gun Media and Illfonic launched the game’s newly revamped website. The site contains a section dedicated to the latest news and updates of the asymmetrical horror title.

One of the announcements is the Spring Break 1984 Clothing Pack, which is the first paid DLC of “Friday the 13th: The Game.”

New DLC

On the preview on the game’s official site, only Counselors Chad and Tiffany are shown in their trunks and bikini. Interestingly, the trailer released a few days ago reveals the outfits of each of the Counselors. The DLC features them in a mix of bikinis, one-piece swim wears, floral shirts, and board shorts. The outfits assigned to the Counselors appears fitting to their respective characters.

In the video, each Counselor is given their chance in the spotlight on their cool and refreshing outfits. Surprisingly, one of the big reveals in the trailer is Chad’s zebra-print swimsuit.

The attire, which Chad wears in the trailer, is different from what was previously shown in the game’s official website. It appears that the game developer might have changed the Counselor’s clothing and simply maintained the same image. It is also possible that there is more than one outfit that the Counselors will receive in the upcoming DLC.

Jason steals the show

However, while showing off his new swimwear, Jason Vorhees cuts Chad’s exposure with a spear throw coming from a great distance. From his scene, Jason Vorhees throwing a spear at Chad is an animation that the present version of the game does not have. It is worth noting that the game’s official website reveals that new kills will be infused for the main antagonist’s versions.

Speculations have it that the scene only implies a potential arrival of new kills.

Meanwhile, the upcoming downloadable content, Spring Break 1984 Clothing Pack, has no release date yet. It will be available at $3.99. However, it will be offered at a discounted price of $1.99 for a limited time. “Friday the 13th: The Game” is already out in the market. The game is playable on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
