Studio Wildcard has just released it s102nd Community Crunch as it featured a new dossier showing an upcoming specie in "ARK: Survival Evolved." Just like the current roster of beasts in the game, the yet to be named Creature sure looks menacing and a complete badass.

Hybrid creature tipped

Per the recently released dossier, the upcoming four-legged beast was hinted somewhat partially as the pages were designed that as if something tore it to bits. However, almost all of its body features can be seen.

From the looks of it, the new creature looks like the love child between a giant bat and a sabretooth tiger as its head resembles that of the flying mammal while it dons a tiger-like body.

Hornlike outgrowths can also be seen at the side of its neck and tail and it even has a mane, though it's a bit shorter as compared to a horse. The mutated quadruped boasts long claws not to mention it's insane muscular built.

Its abilities were not disclosed in the new dossier including as to whether this mutation can be rideable/tamable or not. However, it is expected that this creature will be included in "ARK's" upcoming "Aberration" expansion that will be released sometime in October. A sketch in the dossier may well seem to suggest that it can tread through zip lines albeit its size making it a huge threat while sliding from point to point in the new DLC.

Double whammy

Meanwhile, Wildcard also announced its "ARK Evolution Event++." The perk will be made available across all platforms and will go live throughout the weekend until Monday, September 11 at 12 p.m. EST. During the affair, players' mating interval, EXP, taming and harvesting rates will be doubled. They are also bound to get twice the amount of maturing, hatching, and gestation.

Whole new ball game

It was reported early on that "ARK's" "Aberration" DLC will be set in a damaged ark where its environment was totally altered.

Due to the depletion of its atmosphere, both of its plant and animal species were left with no choice but to adapt to its unforgiving conditions. A teaser trailer was even released earlier this month as it featured what to expect from it. From creatures as harmless as the Lantern Pug to as terrifying as the mutation known as Nameless, players will have to step up a notch this time as this is a whole new level of survival.

As mentioned, "ARK's" "Aberration" segment will be out sometime next month. In the meantime, check out a video about the game below.
