Game enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for Microsoft to launch its most powerful gaming console, the Xbox One X. The gaming device is expected to roll out in November. However, some game industry veterans are also aware of the console’s potential impact in the gaming universe.

During an interview of Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot with Game Spot, the CEO stated some positive things about the Xbox One X console. In relation to one of Ubisoft’s upcoming titles, Guillemot shared his optimism with the gaming system’s power. The Ubisoft CEO said that they did a deal with the Redmond based tech giant on their upcoming action-adventure video game, “Assassin’s Creed: Origins.” Wherein, the title will be taking really good advantage of Xbox One X’s power.

Guillemot also stated that due to the better gaming experiences that the upcoming gaming system will deliver, it will help boost the gaming industry and it will entice more individuals to purchase it. In addition, Guillemot also expressed his confidence in the tech giant’s ability to deliver the most powerful gaming console.

Meanwhile, Ubisoft officially announced “Assassin’s Creed: Origins” during the E3 2017 event. It has been confirmed that the upcoming action-adventure video game will take advantage of the extra power of Microsoft’s new console. However, during an interview of Julien Laferriere (the game’s producer) with We Write Things, Laferriere expressed his enthusiasm for the Xbox One X and the fact that the device allows titles to run even better.

Device’s backward compatibility

With roughly three months before Microsoft will officially release the Xbox One X, Xbox boss Phil Spencer made it known, via Twitter, that the pre-orders of the gaming system will soon be up. Nonetheless, due to the new console’s compatibility features, Xbox One users will be able to use their current accessories.

Also, the Xbox One X is compatible with all existing titles from the Xbox 360 compatibility library.

Specs of the console

Due to the new console’s remarkable specs and features, the tech company touted its latest device as the most powerful gaming system ever. The console will further come packed with an impressive 12GB of GDDR5 memory as well as a six Teraflop GPU - clocks at 1.172 GHz.

The gaming system also features a true 4K resolution with a 326GB of memory bandwidth. According to Twinfinite, it seems the Xbox One X will run games slightly better compared to Sony’s PS4 Pro. However, the Xbox One X will be priced at $499.
